AACTE Award Winner

BTP Students who entered the program in Fall 1999 are exempt from the ESL Praxis. Students who wish to obtain an ESL/Bilingual Endorsement will need to take the ESL Praxis AND a language Praxis (e.g. Spanish, French), except if your undergraduate major is in the target language. Students who are not fluent in a second language and take only the ESL Praxis will receive an ESL-only Endorsement. The ESL Endorsement authorizes you to teach ESL at the level of your initial license authorization.
