TK-20

This comprehensive data management system requires all students to be part of the system. You will need access to the system in order to complete some of your course assignments and be evaluated for course and field experiences. The company providing this system, Tk20, charges students for this access, and you must do one of three things:

1. If you are a continuing student who started your program prior to 6-15-07 and will complete your program by 6-15-08, you have the option of paying a $50 fee that you will pay directly to the company. However, this fee is not renewable and provides access for only one year. In the future, if you change your mind and decide to enter another program or take additional courses, you will be charged the $100 fee that all students who are starting a program pay.

2. If you know that you will be enrolled for more than a year or plan to take other courses at PSU at the completion of this program, Tk20 charges a fee of $100. This is a one-time-only fee. That means you will have access to Tk20 for as long as you need it, for several years if necessary.

Instructions for payment, for either choice above, can be found on the Tk20 website: http://pdx.tk20.com. Payment instructions can be found on the link in the lower left corner of the screen.

3. If you are receiving financial aid and want your financial aid to cover the Tk20 fee, you may purchase your Tk20 access from the PSU Bookstore. The Bookstore will add an additional handling cost to the price. After purchasing your access kit, you need to register your student account by entering your access code on the Tk20 website (http://pdx.tk20.com).

The system is secure and confidential; no one will have access to your files except you and your instructors and advisors. The system is user-friendly, and you will receive instruction in how to use it. If you have any questions or concerns about the system, please contact Dr. Dave Bullock (bullockd@pdx.edu) or Dr. Steve Isaacson (isaacsons@pdx.edu).
